T-Systems workshops in high demand

January 31, 2007

Over two hundred journalists attended Deutsche Telekom's international press conference (IPC) held at the company's main office in Berlin.
Members of the T-Systems Executive Committee spoke about the company's activities in events that they hosted themselves. CEO Lothar Pauly provided information on the company's strategic orientation and the international growth markets. Ulrich Kemp and Axel Knobe described offers for international companies and the German small and medium-sized enterprise sector. The focus of many of the talks was T-Systems' ability to offer the real integration of IT and for the benefit of the customer as one of the few providers capable of this worldwide. T-Systems calls this Real ICT and is already generating 5% of its overall revenue with this concept. This percentage is expected to increase to 25% by 2010.
International customers want Real ICT
The announcement of newly concluded contracts shows that T-Systems is on the right strategic path. For example, Rosenthal AG has prematurely extended its contract with T-Systems for global information and communications technology services. T-Systems has set up a global connection for the porcelain manufacturer. Additionally, Rosenthal will use data center capacity based on demand from T-Systems to support their SAP business applications. Other T-Systems Real ICT customers include Allianz New Europe Holding and Epcos, a leading manufacturer of electronic components.
